1. Problems existing in the distribution network

2. Problems existing in distribution automation

(1) A single problem of functional design. The application of distribution automation system to improve the reliability of power supply seems to be the traditional idea of ​​functional design. However, according to the briefing data of the Electric Power Reliability Center, the main factor affecting the reliability of power supply at this stage is not the power outage of the distribution network. More than 75% of the problems are due to artificially pre-arranged power outages caused by the inherent traditional periodic inspection method. Only when the management level is improved, when the outage time is equal to or greater than the pre-scheduled outage, the function of this function will be reflected.

(2) Distribution automation has changed from a simple distribution monitoring and data acquisition (SCADA) system plus distribution automation (DA) to a more complete distribution system with DA, distribution management system (DMS), geographic information system (GJS), etc. The automation real-time and power supply enterprise management system, the power distribution master station system has also gradually shifted from borrowing the dispatching master station system to the distribution automation master station system for distribution automation applications.

(3) Blind innovation in equipment selection. Lack of overall consideration, ignoring its own foundation, and blindly seeking new and better parts of the equipment, as a result, the new equipment is launched, the old equipment is out of order, and the overall optimization effect cannot be achieved.

(4) In the design of the system structure, the one and the other are neglected. There is a lack of overall consideration in the functional design, and the functions of the control terminal and the main station do not match, the capacity of the communication channel is insufficient, and the primary grid equipment is not suitable. The advanced distribution automation system is installed on the old distribution grid, and its effect is difficult to achieve accomplish.

(5) The traditional drawbacks in the management system and management mechanism. The distribution automation system mainly covers the two majors of production and marketing. If the professional management of vertical functions is also emphasized, and there are no guarantee measures for the combination of division of labor and cooperation, no matter how good the system is, it will be difficult. At the same time, in the system function design, there is still a traditional management mechanism that emphasizes the system and ignores customers; emphasizes technology and ignores management; emphasizes form and ignores actual effect.

(6) GIS is still an isolated static equipment management system rather than a dynamic real-time GIS, which unifies SCADA and geographic information.

(7) Although the industry standard for functional specification of distribution automation system has been promulgated, it still needs a process to solve the non-standard problem of distribution automation in various places.

3. Measures to solve the problem of distribution network automation

The development of distribution network automation is an inevitable product of the development of electric power to a certain stage. With the improvement of the power market and the level of electricity consumption, the distribution network is facing a new reform and development, and the distribution network automation will be further improved. However, distribution network automation is still a new thing due to development in China. We must adopt a scientific attitude and the principle of seeking truth from facts, strengthen the research on distribution network automation in my country, and carry out distribution network transformation according to local conditions.

(1) Analyze the actual application of the regional distribution network, find out the technical solution problems existing in the regional distribution network, and follow the principle of seeking truth from facts based on national conditions and network conditions.

(2) Distribution network automation is a comprehensive project, involving many specialties and strong planning systems. It should be carried out according to the planning of power grids and urban distribution networks to avoid blindness.

(3) The distribution network automation scheme is the core of automation. While introducing foreign technology, the actual situation of the domestic distribution network is analyzed. (4) Power distribution equipment is widely used, has a large quantity, and has a harsh operating environment. (6) For the development of computer application software, first select an open and compatible operating platform, and should have connection functions for various standard databases. Geographical information should reflect the power flow and load situation of the power distribution system in real time. Feedback can realize load control, remote meter reading, equipment database statistics and planning, theoretical calculation of reactive power optimization, etc. Computer software functions are the core of power distribution system automation. Good software can fully reflect the level of technology and automation, and should be fully compared.

(7) The engineering facilities of the distribution network should be implemented in stages and in batches in a planned manner. The basic conditions of the distribution network, the cross-section of the conductors, the transmission capacity, the direction of the lines and the basic conditions of the users should be determined. First, the primary switch equipment and secondary protection monitoring equipment with automatic functions are used to complete the functions of automatic power transmission, automatic fault opening and fault isolation, which can isolate and distinguish fault points.
