1. Overview
With the rise of the oil-free wave of medium voltage switches, vacuum switches have been widely promoted and applied with their unique advantages. Over the years, due to the production process and on-site use environment, some vacuum switches will have different degrees of leakage in their vacuum interrupters during operation, and some may leak to the point that they cannot be broken normally within the normal life range. If the interruption is carried out in this case, the phenomenon of abnormal interruption will occur, which will cause serious consequences. Most of the domestic vacuum switch accidents are caused by this reason. Therefore, it has become very important to strengthen the regular or irregular detection of the vacuum switch vacuum.
The traditional detection method is the "withstand voltage method", that is, when the vacuum switch is in the open state, a certain voltage is applied between the dynamic and static contacts to detect the size of the leakage current, and the quality of the vacuum tube is inferred. This method can only qualitatively detect the quality of the vacuum tube, and the vacuum degree between 10-5~10-1Pa can not be accurately distinguished, so it is impossible to judge the development trend of leakage (that is, how much leakage is compared with the last time of the same vacuum switch).
In view of the above situation, our company began to study the quantitative detection of vacuum degree in vacuum switch interrupter in the mid-nineties, and after years of efforts, we finally successfully developed a vacuum tester to achieve on-site quantitative measurement without disassembly. With the means of quantitative measurement, it can not only measure whether the vacuum degree of the vacuum switch is within the normal range, but more importantly, for some vacuum switches with fast leakage speed, its life can be roughly inferred by comparing the measurement results over the years, and the purpose of preventing accidents can really be achieved.
The vacuum tester launched by the company is compact in structure, light and compact, shorter in test time, higher in measurement reliability, stability, accuracy, and more complete in function.
