I. Overview

WJDE-I different frequency dielectric loss automatic tester is a high-precision instrument for automatic measurement of dielectric loss tangent and capacitance of various high-voltage power equipment in power plants, substations and other fields. Due to the use of frequency conversion technology, it can ensure accurate measurement under strong electric field interference. The instrument adds Chinese menu operation function on the basis of GWS-4, one operation, the microcomputer automatically completes the whole process of measurement. It is the most ideal dielectric loss measurement equipment.

The instrument is also suitable for workshops, laboratories, and scientific research units to measure tgδ and capacitance of high-voltage electrical equipment; it has the advantages of convenience, simplicity and accuracy for the loss test of insulating oil.

The instrument can be used to measure ungrounded or directly grounded high-voltage electrical equipment by means of forward and reverse wiring.

The instrument is equipped with a high-voltage step-up transformer, and has taken safety protection measures such as zero-crossing closing and lightning protection. During the test, it outputs high voltages of different levels from 0.5KV to 10kV, and the operation is simple and safe.

 

2. Working principle

Under the action of AC voltage, the dielectric consumes part of the electric energy, and this part of the electric energy will be converted into heat energy and lost. This energy loss is called dielectric loss. When an AC voltage is applied to the dielectric, there is a phase angle difference Ψ between the voltage and current in the dielectric. The complementary angle δ of Ψ is called the dielectric loss angle, and the tangent tgδ of δ is called the dielectric loss tangent. The tgδ value is a parameter used to measure the dielectric loss. The instrument measurement circuit includes a standard circuit (Cn) and a tested circuit (Cx), as shown in Figure 1. The standard circuit is composed of built-in high-stability standard capacitors and measurement circuits, and the tested circuit is composed of the tested object and measurement circuits. The measurement circuit consists of sampling resistor, preamplifier and A/D converter. The standard loop current and the tested loop current amplitude and phase are respectively measured by the measuring circuit, and then the digital real-time acquisition method is used by the single-chip microcomputer, and the capacitance value and dielectric loss tangent value of the test product can be obtained through vector operation.

Anti-interference measures have been adopted inside the instrument to ensure accurate measurement under external electric field interference.
